Personal Information Notice
Last updated: 13 September 2026
ICO Registration Number: ZC101614
This notice explains what Peach Data holds about you, where it came from, why we hold it, and how to opt out. You are reading it because you are named on a public register as an officer or proprietor of a food or drink business, or your business publishes contact details, and we hold that information. UK GDPR Article 14 requires us to tell you. Where the EU GDPR applies, Article 14 of the EU GDPR applies in the same way.
1. Who we are
Meridian Interface Ltd, trading as Peach Data. Company number 16150489. ICO registration ZC101614. Registered address: Park House, Wilmington Street, Leeds, LS7 2BP. Email: privacy@peachdata.co.uk. We are the controller of the information described here.
2. Your right to opt out
You can object at any time and we will stop. Email privacy@peachdata.co.uk with your name and the business name. We will remove you from our database, add you to our suppression list so you are not collected again, and tell any customer who received your record to remove it. There is no charge and you do not need to give a reason.
3. What we hold
Your name. Your role as a company officer or proprietor. The business's trading name, address, published telephone number, published email address and website.
4. Where it came from
The UK companies register, public food hygiene registers, and the business's own published website. We do not collect from social media or from behind a login, and we do not buy lists.
5. Why we hold it and our legal basis
We supply business contact information to providers of software, payment and business services for their own business-to-business sales and marketing. They use it under licence agreements that restrict use and prohibit onward transfer.
Our legal basis is legitimate interests (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f)): ours, in running a business data service; our customers', in contacting businesses that may want their services; and yours, in being reached through the channels your business publishes. We have carried out a balancing test and will provide it on request.
6. Who receives it
Our customers: hospitality technology, payments and business-services providers. Our service providers: hosting, email delivery and email verification, who act on our instructions.
7. International transfers
Some recipients may be outside the UK. Where the destination has no UK adequacy decision, we rely on the International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
8. How long we keep it
While the business remains publicly listed as trading, or until you object. If you object we keep your name and the business contact details on our suppression list indefinitely, for the sole purpose of making sure we honour your objection.
9. Automated decision-making
We do not make decisions about you by automated means that have legal or similarly significant effects.
10. Your rights
You have the right to access the information we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it erased, to restrict how we use it, and to object. Your right to object to direct marketing is absolute; we will always stop. To exercise any right, email privacy@peachdata.co.uk. We reply within one month.
11. Complaints
You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We would welcome the chance to resolve any concern first at privacy@peachdata.co.uk.
